LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED FOR THE AL FRESCO DINING SPACE

Along Roger Williams Avenue, between Burton and Pleasant Avenues

RAVINIA DISTRICT, HIGHLAND PARK, IL (JULY 2020)  – The Ravinia District of Highland Park comes alive with live music in its shared al fresco dining space along Roger Williams Avenue, between Burton and Pleasant Avenues.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring live music back to the Ravinia Business District, which has been recognized over the past three years for its Food Truck Thursdays with live music in Jens Jensen Park,” states Katie Wiswald, Chair of the Ravinia Business District Association and Vice President at Highland Park Bank & Trust. “The Ravinia District has become a destination for dining and we are now able to bring some music back into the mix.”

Live music is sponsored by the Ravinia District Special Service Area 17 property owners on select Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, and will be posted on the Ravinia District Facebook page at RaviniaDistrict.HighlandPark.

The Ravinia District Al Fresco Dining area opened in June, as the City entered Phase 3, to allow the public to enjoy the variety of foods from Ravinia District businesses. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Seating is reserved for individuals that have purchased food and beverages from local Ravinia District restaurants including Abigail’s American Bistro, BWB.Rocks, Baker Boys, Piero’s Pizza, Ravinia Brewing Co., Viaggio.

The community is reminded to follow all social distancing and safety guidelines including:

  • Wear a face covering when entering any business, including picking up a carryout order from a restaurant.

  • Face covering should be worn over the nose and mouth at all times.

  • Continue to wear a face covering when walking around the District, if not able to maintain a safe 6-foot social distance.

  • Avoid congregating on the street and sidewalk, as well as in close quarters.

  • Enjoy alcoholic beverages only in the designated outdoor dining areas.

  • Dispose of trash before leaving the outdoor dining area or take trash to dispose at home.

  • Respect capacity limits that are set by state and city guidance.

  • Observe all additional requirements or guidelines implemented by business owners.
